ABOUT

As an artist, I am interested in the many ways our society imposes restrictions, literally and metaphorically; my most recent work explores subconscious guilt of the consumer in a capitalist society, how it corresponds to the idea of escapism, and the significance of the dreamscape as a tool of self-discovery.

Dark, ethereal, whimsical: my work is an eclectic mix of sculpture, traditional media and digital print, celebrating the borderless creativity of a modern artist, there is no one discipline underpinning my practise.

Taking inspiration from artists like Louis Borgouis, and film-maker David Lynch: my work is firmly rooted in the concept of fear psychology - that our truest selves are reflected in the monsters we create, and that the only way to overcome our deepest fears, is to face them honestly.
